Come and enjoy the day next to a tropical beach. South beach is 35km
outside Dar Es Salaam, and is about an hour's drive, depending on the state of the road.
Getting to south beach is not an easy task. Especially when it has
been raining. That
is why a 4 x 4 is a must when travelling in Tanzania. It is also advisable to
travel in more than one vehicle.
In the rainy season a boat might be a better mode of transport to travel.
Even then it is no guarantee that you won't need a helping hand
once in a while.
But when you finally get to south beach you will see that all the effort was definately worth the while. This is a tropical paradise.
